Godolphin are double-handed with Echo Of Light and Librettist as they bid to win the Breeders' Cup Mile for the first time at Churchill Downs on Saturday.
The pair have pleased connections since they arrived in America last Sunday and have been kept ticking over exercising on the track.
The Frankie Dettori-ridden Echo Of Light has fared better in the draw, being placed in stall six, with Librettist, the mount of Christophe Soumillon, out wide in stall 13 of the 14 runners.
Godolphin racing manager Simon Crisford said: "Echo Of Light pleased when winning his latest race in France and has acclimatised well in Kentucky.
"He has a good draw and is doing well. We hope he continues to make progress which he needs to if he is going to be competitive in the Breeders' Cup Mile.
"Librettist disappointed in his last race and we are hoping he can regain the sparkle that he showed when winning two Group One races in France.
"There are good indications that he has but he is not drawn well and appears to have a tough task," Crisford told www.godolphin.com.
