Egan - concerns over intended partner.

fears emerge over satulagi

By PA Sport Staff

Connections of British raider Satulagi are concerned John Egan's mount has been off her food since arriving in Louisville.

Stan Moore's charge is a 25-1 chance with William Hill for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies after she completed her British juvenile campaign with a fine fourth behind Simply Perfect in the Fillies' Mile.

But Moore's wife Sarah, who rides Satulagi in all her work, said: "She is still settling in and took the plane journey well.

"But it's a worry that she's not eating very well, while she has a pony stabled next to her, which is unusual for her.

"She's grown and developed mentally and is very tough, and her last few runs have been very good indeed - albeit on soft ground, which isn't ideal.

"We're hoping for faster conditions on Saturday."
