Street Sense scorches to victory.

sense wins by a street

Street Sense ran away from the opposition as Carl Nafzger's two-year-old turned the Breeders' Cup Juvenile into a procession.

They went a furious pace with Stormello, Principle Secret and Pegasus Wind taking them along.

Coming out of stall one like the first winner Dreaming Of Anna,

Street Sense burst through on the rail to take the race by the scruff of the neck and storm home.

Circular Quay, who made up masses of ground after a slow start, was second with Great Hunter third.

Street Sense won by 10 lengths, a record margin for the race. Nafzger said: "He started a beautiful move before Circular Quay started his. I watched him - he's a flyer so I hoped our horse wouldn't stop his."

Nafzger added: "After every race we have learned more and more. "It's a great win for the whole team and we want to come back here on the first Saturday in May (Kentucky Derby).

Borel said: "We had an awesome trip. We were right where we wanted to be."
